She Shares Ingenious Cleaning Tips That You Won’t Want To Miss!

In my last video, we spoke about orchestrating a bathroom remodel for elderly relatives and cleaning bathroom

floors. Today we are tackling carpets! Let’s agree that right now that it’s definitely easier to clean your bathroom floor than it is to clean your carpets. Have you ever had to shell out a lot of money to clean and shampoo your carpets and rugs? That wine stain just wasn’t budging with your best efforts huh? Well, I will show you how these home ideas can effectively clean and deodorize your carpets. You will wonder why you haven’t tried this before!

All you need is Baking soda, soap, and vinegar. It packs a powerful combo, not to mention its also an eco-friendly alternative to the chemicals used when shampooing your rugs. (Stick around and ill also have a surefire way to get furniture dents out of the carpets!)

What’s the best way to clean carpets that have pet hair embedded in the fibers? Well, what you can do is scrape the surfaces that need to be cleaned, then you can just vacuum it right out! No sweat! Well, how about that shaggy rug with all the loose fibers? For that, you can roll the largest lint brush you can find over the rug, then flip it over and vacuum below (this truly works). No more fuzz! I made a little cheat sheet for you below with some home remedies and hacks.

An easy way to clean carpet stains with vinegar, baking soda, and soap:
Mix equal parts with water into a spray bottle, then shake vigorously. Spray directly onto the stain, let it sit for a few minutes and then wipe the solution away with an old cloth. No kidding it is that easy!

My other trick is to use a natural eco-friendly glass cleaner mix with equal parts water and spray onto the stain, only this time you will cover the spot (that you just saturated with the solution) with an old t-shirt. Plug in your iron, (yes you read that right) and iron over that spot until the steam rises and transfers the stain onto the shirt!

Getting sticky gum out of your carpet by hand:
Ice, ice baby! Freeze it off! Place a cube of ice over the gum and let it sit for about 10 minutes, the cold temperature makes it hard enough to scrape off.

How to get dents out of carpets:
Ice the spot and leave it on for a couple minutes. This will leave the area stressed by the furniture. You can also place some styrofoam under your furniture to prevent further dents from appearing.

I hope these carpet cleaning tips helped you the way they helped me, if you liked my home ideas please share my link and spread the knowledge!
